Grimmes Fairy tales outdoors |
The Pantaloons make their debut at Waterperry Gardens with a selection of Grimm’s Fairy Tales told in their own inimitable style. The company use popular theatre traditions from commedia dell’arte and clowning to stand up comedy and silent movies to bring these darkly magical stories to life. Suitable for families though not for very small children, the show will run approximately 2 hours including an interval. Gates open an hour before the performance for picnics. No seating is provided so please bring your own picnic chairs or blankets. Tickets are non-refundable.
Ticket prices: Adults £13.50. Children aged 16 and under £8.50.

Hobby Horse Festival |
Annual Hobby Horse Festival and Town Mayor’s Civic Sunday
Banbury comes alive with visiting beasts and Morris Dancers from all over the country. Join in the fun parade on Sunday, leaving Banbury Town Hall around 12.30pm and then bring the ’Ride a Cock Horse’ nursery rhyme to life with races and fun events for all the family in People’s Park until 4.00pm. This year the arena activities for all the family will have an Olympic theme so come along and try your hand at some unusual sports.
Hobby Horse Festival in the town on the Saturday. Parade commences 12.30pm on Sunday. Fun afternoon in People’s Park until 4.00pm with Olympic theme.

Dizzy Dogs Day |
Dizzydaysday is day aimed at fun for the whole family incorporating a fun dog show and various entertainments throughout the day and then rounding the day off with a BBQ and an Auction. A whole variety of animal rescues will be involed plus local businesses bringing the whole community together for a great family day out for all. Opening at 10am taking entries to the shows at 10.30am, shows to begin at 12 noon. BBQ time to be confirmed FREE PARKING
Pre booked tickets will be £5 per head children under 12 and dogs free Tickets sold on the day will be £6 per head under 12 and dogs free. Tickets will be available through the website. TBA
