Many Tears Animal Rescue

Posted: 25th September 2018

This past weekend, a small team from Abivale Veterinary Group traveled to Wales to volunteer at Many Tears Animal Rescue.

It was an exhausting weekend filled with neutering, dental procedures, lump removals and health checks, but these animals can now go to foster homes or their new forever homes.

The majority of the dogs there have been rescued from puppy farms - either because they can no longer be used for breeding, or because the breeder didn't think they were cute enough.

If you or anyone you know are considering adding a new furbaby to your family, we urge you to take a look at their website and help save a life of one of these beautiful dogs.

Or if you aren't in the position for a new addition, you can also donate via the website as well.

About Many Tears Animal Rescue

Many Tears Animal Rescue (MTAR) is based in Carmarthenshire, Wales but has dogs in foster homes throughout the UK. They take in and rehome primarily ex-breeding dogs who are no longer required; those on "death row" in the pounds and those whose owners are no longer able to keep them.

Many Tears Animal Rescue are a unique rescue in that the majority of dogs are ex-breeders and many have never seen the outside world before. With the help of dedicated staff, fosterers and other volunteers Many Tears Animal Rescue provide a special and loving environment to help all dogs adapt and find permanent, loving new homes. All potential adopters are interviewed and homes vetted and they do there utmost best to find the right home for each dog. The rescue has grown considerably since it first opened and now homes in excess of 3,000 dogs a year.
